I just got back from a family trip to Florida. Here is the first group of my favourite pictures. I tried editing them a little (in one man's words, "to make the colours pop") but if they look hokey, I would like to know.
Any ideas?

Yo! The colors and contrast look good. I'd probably bring up the whites in the flamingos a bit. One thing I think you should try is working with different angles, like getting way low to the ground and that sort of thing. Also the house picture that I think is a post below here was shot at the perfect time of day, it's dark but the sky still has blue in it. PS. I'm not really sure what I look for in architecture, I like simplicity, but other than that I couldn't really tell you.
